Full Description
April 2010. Norfolk NMP.
The sewage works that served RAF Horsham St Faith airfield are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S6), in the western third of the field centred TG 2237 1207, 170m to the south of the extent of the airfield. In the eastern part of the field, there are several slit/practice trenches visible (S2) in use for part of World War Two, and there are also two rifle butts, at TG 2245 1210 and TG 2240 1200. The rifle butts and sewage works are still partially visible in 1951 (S6).
