Full Description
April 2010. Norfolk NMP.
At least seven above ground public air raid shelters are visible as structures on aerial photographs (S1-S5) in an area approximately 900m by 800m within the parish of Sprowston.
They all appear to be similar in their construction, but not necessarily in size.
The easternmost of these is situated at TG 2454 1174, and is removed by 1951 (S6). The westernmost is situated at TG 2367 1159, and is only visible on one set of photographs (S2). The southernmost shelter is situated at TG 2464 1095.
