Full Description
April 2010. Norfolk NMP.
A circular World War Two emergency water tank is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) to the east of Norman First School (NHER 49038), within the grounds of which there are several underground shelters (NHER 53512). It measures 11m in total diameter, and is centred on TG 2166 1091. It is also situated 23m to the north of one of the above ground shelters (NHER 53504). It is larger than other similar structures to the west (NHER 53527, 53530, 53533, 53535, 53536, 53537), but the same size as three others (NHER 53538, 53559, 53565).
It has been removed by May 1947 (S2).
