Summary

A small rectangular structure, which may represent a World War Two air raid shelter is visible on aerial photographs to the west of Junction Road, Norwich. It is situated opposite an area of bomb disturbance, with at least one discernable bomb crater.

A small rectangular structure (7m by 5.3m), which may represent a World War Two air raid shelter is visible on aerial photographs (S2-S4) to the west of Junction Road, Norwich, at TG 2211 1025. It is situated opposite an area of bomb disturbance, with at least one discernable crater, at TG 2214 1024. Another possible shelter or ARP warden’s post may be visible on the 1942 photographs (S1) within the area of bomb disturbance, although this is no longer evident by 1945 (S2).
