Summary

In 1975 a Neolithic polished stone axehead was dredged from the River Thet. Later, in 1984, diving at this location recovered a skull fragment of unknown date.

Pre 1974. Casual Find.
A small polished stone axe was dredged from the river Thet at Nun's Bridges. The axe has a sharply bevelled cutting edge and measures 3.6in long, with a maximum width of 2.2in.
