Map

May 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Several linear ditches are visible as grassmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S4) centred on TG 2197 1521, on land to the north of Spixworth Road, Horsham St Faith and Newton St Faith.
At least one of the ditches is on the same alignment as field boundaries visible on the Tithe map (S5), and those recorded approximately 170m to the east as possible field boundaries (NHER 53611), and they have therefore been assigned a medieval to post medieval date.
It is possible that the grassmarks relate to former drainage ditches, and there are many still visible as earthworks approximately 400m to the north of this site.
E. Bales (NMP), May 2010.
