Full Description
May 2010. Norfolk NMP.
A World War Two emergency water tank is visible as an extant structure on 1940s aerial photographs (S1)-(S2), centred at TG 2170 0911. Tanks such as these were used to supply water for fire fighting following bombing raids. This example occupied a bomb site, evident on aerial photographs taken in 1942 (S3).
S. Tremlett (NMP), 6 May 2010.
