A World War Two ARP warden’s post – Post H3 St Thomas Road – is recorded at this location in a bibliographic source (S1). It almost certainly equates to a small rectangular concrete structure (possibly with some sort of annexe or extension at its western end) visible on 1940s aerial photographs (S2), centred at TG 2144 0872. The structure is similar to those recorded at the location of other ARP posts across the city.
