Summary

A probable World War Two emergency water tank is visible as an extant structure on aerial photographs. Numerous tanks of this type were erected across Norwich to provide a supply of water for fire-fighting following bombing raids. This example is unusual in that it appears to have been located amongst private gardens rather than in a more public location.
