Summary

The site of a possible World War Two barrage balloon is visible on aerial photographs at this approximately location in 1944, although is not visible on other available aerial photographs and therefore the location of somewhat uncertain. However there are signs of activity at this location and these may relate to dismantled barrage balloon site and a balloon site (Site 15) is also recorded in this general area by Banger 2003.
