Summary

The site of a World War Two bomb crater is visible on aerial photographs to the immediate south of Carrow Priory (NHER 296), Norwich. This crater is first clearly visible in June 1941, but may already be present by April 1942. It has been backfilled by 1945.

The site of a World War Two bomb crater is visible on aerial photographs to the immediate south of Carrow Priory (NHER 296), Norwich (S1-S3). This crater is centred on TG 2429 0731 and is first clearly visible in June 1941 (S2), but may already be present by April 1942 (S1). It has been backfilled by 1945 (S3).
