Summary

The site of a World War Two barrage balloon and associated buildings and defences is visible on aerial photographs to the north of Bracondale alongside the railway line at Norwich. The site consists of a barrage balloon, a few associated structures and some areas of disturbance and may not have been in use much before June 1942, as there is no clear sign of structures on aerial photographs prior to this date.

The site of a World War Two barrage balloon and associated buildings and defences is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) to the north of Bracondale alongside the railway line, Norwich. The site is centred on TG 2428 0715 and consists of a barrage balloon, a few associated structures and some areas of disturbance and may not have been in use much before June 1942 (S1), as there is no clear sign of structures on aerial photographs prior to this date.
