Summary

The site of a pair of probable possible World War Two bomb craters is visible on aerial photographs within Wensum Park, Norwich. The crater surrounded by the large area of upcast is likely to correspond with the bomb that is recorded as landing in a fishpond in Wensum Park.

The site of a pair of probable possible World War Two bomb craters is visible on aerial photographs within Wensum Park, Norwich (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 2243 0980. The crater surrounded by the large area of upcast is likely to correspond with the bomb that is recorded as landing in a fishpond in Wensum Park (S3).
