Full Description
July 2010. Norfolk NMP.
The site of a possible World War Two rail block on the railway bridge over the River Wensum to the south of Drayton Road, Norwich (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 2213 0990. It is worth noting that this feature coincides with the known location of a former signal post and it is possible that the structures mapped may relate to that rather than a World War Two rail block, although there is clear disturbance to either side of the track in 1942 (S1).
S. Horlock (NMP), 05 July 2010.
