An area of World War Two military activity, which may be a communications site, as it contains several possible masts as well as a number of structures and an earth-covered underground shelter visible as a mound, is visible on aerial photographs on land to the north east of Catton Old Hall, Old Catton.
The site is centred on TG 2367 1293, and has been mapped rapidly using a photograph which was aligned with the Ordnance Survey mapping to save time, therefore the position may not be exact.
