Full Description
June 2010. Norfolk NMP.
World War Two anti-landing obstacles are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs (S1)-(S6), centred at TG 2246 0653. They consist of lines of pits and trenches. The mapping, particularly that of the westernmost features, is approximate, as not all elements are particularly clear on the consulted aerial photographs. It is also schematic, intended to provide an indication of the location and extent of each element, rather than a detailed record of its outline or that of any upcast spoil.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 21 June 2010.
