Summary

An earth-covered World War Two above ground air raid shelter with at least two entrances is visible on aerial photographs within the former Hospital Girls’ School playground to the east of Hall Road, Norwich. At least two underground air raid shelters are visible to the west, within the Boys’ School playground (NHER 54341).

An earth-covered World War Two above ground air raid shelter with at least two entrances is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S5) within the former Hospital Girls’ School playground to the east of Hall Road, Norwich. At least two underground air raid shelters are visible to the west, within the Boys’ School playground (NHER 54341).
The structure is centred on TG 2338 0729.
