Full Description
July 2010. Norfolk NMP.
The site of a World War Two emergency water tank and surface air raid shelter or Air Raid Precautions (ARP) warden’s post is visible on aerial photographs on Norwich Road (S1). The site is centred on TG 1890 1047. A surface air raid shelter seems like the most likely interpretation for the structure, although a warden’s post remains a possibility.
S. Horlock (NMP), 21 July 2010.
