Full Description
July 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks of linear ditches and a possible bank are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) on land to the east of Shop Lane, Hethersett.
The site is centred on TG 1619 0532 and consists of three near-parallel earthwork ditches which may represent post medieval drainage features, or possible field boundaries. Two possible bank features are also visible within these ditches, these may represent former house platforms within the field division, ie medieval to post medieval tofts and crofts.
E. Bales (NMP), 20 July 2010.
