Map

July 2010. Norfolk NMP.
A possible prehistoric field boundary is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1) to the south of Newfound Farm, Colney Lane, Cringleford.
The linear ditch cropmark stretches from TG 1839 0649 to TG 1857 0653. It is only visible on one set of photographs, and it is therefore difficult to be certain that its origin is archaeological, but as it does not correspond with the post medieval field boundaries it is possible that it dates to the prehistoric period.
E. Bales (NMP), 20 July 2010.

January 2011. Geophysical Survey.
Magnetometer survey of large proposed development area.
This survey revealed no evidence for sub-surface remains associated with this cropmark.
See report (S2) and NHER 63107 for further details.
