Map

July 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Several circular banks and circular ditch features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (S1) and are likely to represent the remains of a World War Two anti-aircraft battery, which must have been removed by September 1945 (S2). The site is centred on TG 1904 0679. The areas of parching and circular banks in the field (S3) indicate the former presence of structures, potentially gun emplacements, at these locations. It is possible that this site may represent an earlier version of the possible anti aircraft or searchlight battery situated 240m to the north east (NHER 54409).
