Map

July 2010. Norfolk NMP.
A possible medieval to post medieval earthwork enclosure and linear field boundary ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S5) to the east of Colney Lane.
The possible enclosure measures 34m by at least 32m externally and is centred on TG1834 0763. It appears to exhibit at least one internal ditch feature, although this was difficult to interpret, and is attached to a possible field boundary ditch which extends to the southwest as far as TG 1830 0751.
There are also several ditch features visible to the east, centred on TG 1849 0760, surrounded by linear banks, which may relate to medieval to post medieval drainage of the area.
