Map

July 2010. Norfolk NMP.
A possible Bronze Age ring ditch is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1-S2), on land to the south of Bowthorpe Hall Road, Norwich. It is centred on TG 1841 0880 and measures approximately 11m in external diameter, although it is not wholly visible.
It is only visible on photographs from one day, therefore has been recorded with a note of caution as it may relate to agricultural activity, such as a tractor turning circle, rather than an archaeological feature. It should be noted, however, that it is slightly different in appearance to nearby features which are clearly agricultural in nature.
E. Bales (NMP), 20 July 2010.
