Summary

In August 2010 the condition of the arch over the River Stiffkey at the southern end of Thursford Wood was assessed to determine whether the structure could be demolished.

A brick arch over the River Stiffkey became redundant when the A148 was realigned a few years ago. The structure has vegetation growing on it indicating that it is not used. As the condition was deteriorating an assessment was made to determine whether it should be demolished.
