Summary

The site of the Royal Observer Corps (ROC) monitoring post, previously recorded under NHER 5092, is visible on aerial photographs to the south of Stoke Holy Cross. This Royal Observer Corps post constructed in June 1960 and closed in October 1968, the surface features of which were intact in 1999.

The site of the Royal Observer Corps (ROC) monitoring post, previously recorded under NHER 5092, is visible on aerial photographs to the south of Stoke Holy Cross (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 2500 0246. According to the details previously in NHER 5092, this Royal Observer Corps post constructed in June 1960 and closed in October 1968, the surface features of which were intact in 1999 (S3).
