Summary

The cropmarks of a possible rectilinear enclosure or farmstead of unknown but probable Roman date, are visible on aerial photographs. The site consists of a possible sub-rectangular enclosure and associated ditches and boundaries. Other cropmarks noted in this area were dismissed as being of geological origin.

The cropmarks of a possible rectilinear enclosure or farmstead of unknown but probable Roman date, are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The site, which is centred on TG 2494 0148, consists of a possible sub-rectangular enclosure and associated ditches and boundaries. Other cropmarks noted in this area were dismissed as being of geological origin.
