Map

March 2009. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of possible former medieval ridge and furrow and/or strip fields may be visible on aerial photographs to the west of Dunston Park (S1). The site is centred on TG 2202 0147. The site consists of an area of sinuous dark linear marks which run parallel to the green lane, Hickling Lane, to the north. These ephemeral marks may relate to former ridge and furrow and/or strip fields, although it is possible that they relate to more recent agricultural activity in the field. Due to this uncertainty they features were not mapped, rather a note has been made of their possible presence.
S. Horlock (NMP), 25 March 2009.
