Full Description
October 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Two possible linear ditches are visible as an earthwork and a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1-S3) on land to the north-west of Fowl Mere, Wretham. Both of these features are only visible on one set of photographs, and it is possible that they do not represent archaeological features.
The first of these features runs from TL 8734 8970 to TL 8746 8985, and consists of three narrow earthwork ditches, and may represent a footpath running diagonally across the field.
The second feature runs from TL 8772 8992 to TL 8786 9000. It is visible as a cropmark on one set of photographs only.
E. Bales (NMP), 18 Oct 2010.
