Map

October 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Two undated linear ditch cropmarks, which may represent a possible trackway, are visible on aerial photographs (S2) to the west of The Street, Croxton. The two parallel ditches are visible running for approximately 168m northwest-southeast from TL 8666 8629 to TL 8682 8622. They are approximately 5.9m apart, and there may be a faint suggestion of a bank between them, although this was not clear enough to be mapped. Two prehistoric flint axeheads were recovered in the vicinity (NHER 30477), and it is possible therefore that this feature may be prehistoric in date.
E. Bales (NMP), 18 Oct 2010.
