Map

June 2010. Building Survey.
Level 2 survey of three agricultural buildings at Creake Abbey Farm.
These buildings appear to have been built between 1839 and the 1880s for the purpose of housing cattle. The buildings first appear on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map (1824-1836) where all of the structures are largely arranged in their current form. The surviving threshing barn to the west is visible on the earlier tithe map of 1839 indicating the presence of a farm but none of the cattle shed structures had been built at this time so it is likely that they were constructed between 1839 and the 1880s.
See report (S1) for further details.
