Map

December 2010. Norfolk NMP.
A possible linear ditch is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1) on former farmland to the south of the Thetford to Brandon railway line, Theford. It is visible running for approximately 179m from TL 8598 8362 to TL 8616 8363, and measures 1.7m in width. It is only visible on one set of aerial photographs, and is possible that it represents an agricultural trackway rather than an archaeological feature, and should therefore be viewed with a note of caution.
E. Bales (NMP), 14 Dec 2010.
