Full Description
December 2010. Norfolk NMP.
A probable type 22 World War Two pillbox is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) to the west of Bury Road, Thetford. It is centred on TL 8682 8235, and was presumably sited, along with other pillboxes in the area (NHER 54540, 54543) to defend the south of Thetford, along with the training areas NHER 54542, 54544 and possible radar site 54545.
E. Bales (NMP), 15 Dec 2010.
