Summary

A linear feature visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south of Great Snare Hill, Brettenham, was previously recorded as a possible trackway. .Assessment of aerial photographs for the area fo the immediate west would suggest that this linear feature, which turns slightly to the south and continues to the river, relates to a pipeline or similar modern feature.

A faint possible linear trackway is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1) to the south of Great Snare Hill, Brettenham. The linear ditch features run from TL 8726 8020 to TL 8807 8049. However, they are faint and difficult to be certain of, and being visible only on one set of aerial photographs they have been recorded with a note of caution.
