Map

December 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Several meandering banks and ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S2) on land to the north of the Little Ouse River, Brettenham.
They are centred on TL 8879 8059 and it is possible that they relate to medieval to post medieval, or even more modern trackways. They are located in close proximity to the position of Little Snarehill deserted medieval village (NHER 5965) and may be related to trackways within, or leading to it. However, it is also possible that they are geological, rather than archaeological in nature, and have been recorded with a note of caution.
E. Bales (NMP), 29 Dec 2010.
