Summary

Several undated earthwork banks and ditches are visible on aerial photographs on land to the north of the Little Ouse River, Brettenham. It is possible that they, along with cropmarks visible to the south (NHER 54550), may be related to the proposed deserted medieval settlement of Little Snarehill (NHER 5965).

Several undated earthwork banks and ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) on land to the north of the Little Ouse River, Brettenham. They are centred on TL 8895 8084 and consist of several linear earthwork banks with ditches beside them. It is possible that they, along with cropmarks visible to the south (NHER 54550), may be related to the proposed deserted medieval settlement of Little Snarehill (NHER 5965).
