Summary

In 1972 a single Roman coin and various sherds of Roman pottery were recovered from this location. Pottery types identified included grey ware, Castor Ware and samian.

Includes Grey ware, Castor ware, Samian ware and oyster shells (also nine bronze coins found west and north of Wiveton, one from this site (no.10 Centenionalis of Magnentius (AD 350-53) Christogram A + W)).
