Summary

A linear bank and ditch are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on land to the south of Castle Street, Thetford. They are likely to relate to post medieval drainage features. A cropmark of a possible ring ditch is also visible to the north, however this is only visible on one set of photographs, and is likely to be a non-archaeological fungus ring, or possibly a post medieval windmill mound.
