Summary

In 1961 the remains of a square flint building were found during earth moving. It was filled with charcoal, in which medieval/post medieval pottery sherds, animal remains and metal working debris were found.

Remains of square flint and mortar building about 2.1m (7 feet) square, filled with charcoal found while bulldozing.
Material from this spread on field and sherds of 15th to 16th century wares found, also many animal bones and iron slag.
