Map

February 2011. Norfolk NMP.
Possible linear earthworks of three banks and a ditch are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S4) on land to the north of Thetford Road, Brettenham.
The site is centred on TL 9013 8298. The bank to the north may be related to the drainage features visible in the vicinity on Ordnance Survey maps. The central bank may form a woodland boundary, as it stretches between two areas of woodland. The southern bank is less clear, and may be geological rather than archaeological in nature.
