Summary

In 2010 an archaeological evaluation revealed three medieval graves and the remains of 19th century buildings in the form of post-holes and gullies. The medieval graves were sealed by post-medieval soil. Finds of Middle Saxon date recovered from two of the graves is thought to be residual.

Archaeological evaluation (Trenches 14-16).
The excavation revealed three medieval graves and the remains of post-medieval structures and 19th century buildings in the form of post-holes and gullies. The medieval graves were sealed by post-medieval soil. Finds of Middle Saxon date recovered from two of the graves is thought to be residual.
