Map

August-September 2009. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of groundworks associated with construction of new golf course.
A number of lithic implements were recovered dating from the Early Neolithic to Late Bronze Age including blade cores, platform rejuvenation flakes, side scrapers, blades, utilised flakes and debitage. No features were observed but the presence of the late prehistoric lithics and the location of the site on a south-facing well-drained slope could suggest activity within this vicinity during these periods.
