Map

March 2011. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks of a possible post-medieval stock enclosure are visible on aerial photographs (S1) on land to the east of Brettenham Heath, Bridgham. The enclosure is square in plan, and is centred on TL 9320 8592, measuring approximately 42m by 47m internally. It is visible on an area of heathland upon which other earthworks are also visible, although many appear to be multiple trackways caused by movement of stock, and none were convincing enough to be mapped.
E. Bales (NMP), 3 March 2011.

September 2011. Field visit.
Earthworks survive on the site.
D. Robertson (HES), 20 April 2012.
