Map

March 2011. Norfolk NMP.
A possible rectangular enclosure is visible as soilmarks and an earthwork on aerial photographs (S1-S2) either side of Croxton Road, Thetford. It is centred on TL 8740 8446 and measures 170m by 100m. Due to its size, and the fact that it is visible as a blurred feature, its archaeological provenance is somewhat in doubt, but it has been mapped as the soilmark is quite clear.
E. Bales (NMP), 4 March 2011.
