Summary

Possible eroded Bronze Age round barrow is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery and aerial photographs. The probable barrow is visible on the ground as a low mound with a surrounding ditch and possible outer bank.

Round barrow, partially ploughed-out, but still visible as a low mound in the corner of the field with a surrounding ditch. No remains of the barrow are visible on recent aerial photographs.

October 2018. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
The possible eroded Bronze Age round barrow is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery and aerial photographs (S1-S2). The barrow consists of a mound with an enclosing ditch and an outer bank. Other possible round barrows have been recorded in close proximity to the east, such as NHER 4814 and NHER 62493.
The mapped extent of this possible round barrow has been refined [2].
