Full Description
December 2010. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of proposed development site.
The excavation revealed a Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age crouched burial accompanied by a Beaker-style pot suggesting a date of 2600-1800 BC. The grave appears to be isolated and not part of a larger cemetery. Later features probably relating to activity at Hall Farm included a dew pond and a pit.
