Full Description
April 2011. Norfolk NMP.
A probable World War Two pillbox is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) to the west of Baldwin’s Wood, East Carleton. It can be seen in 1942 and1946, but by 1956 (S3) it appears to have been demolished, and the area is being used for agricultural purposes.
E. Bales (NMP), 12 April 2011.
