Full Description
April 2011.
The line of a possible Roman road linking the Peddars Way at Ringstead with the Roman settlement at Toftrees is suggested based on parish boundaries and roads and tracks shown on historic maps.

July-August 2014. Watching Brief and Strip Map and Sample Excavation.
Archaeological mitigation work undertaken during installation of underground electrical cable for West Raynham Solar Park.
Although the route of this cable coincided with the postulated route of this road at c.TF 8918 2664 no associated remains were observed during either the initial stripping of the easement or the subsequent excavation of the cable trench itself (which took place under reasonably close archaeological supervision).
