Summary

A Bronze Age round barrow is marked on a map compiled in about 1850. It survives and is covered in dense vegetation. It is also visible on 1946 RAF aerial photographs and on 1969 Ordnance Survey aerial photographs.

Schedule description states it is 0.7m high by 24m wide and has a trench across it probably of World War Two origin.

Earthworks of round barrow, visible on the 1946 RAF aerial photographs (S4) and Ordnance Survey aerial photographs from 1969 (S5). The diameter of the mound appears to be around 23m. The exact dimensions are hard to discern, due to the surrounding vegetation, although this size is consistent with previous dimensions given.
