Summary

In 1879 a gold coin of Henry VI was found at an unknown location on the beach at Cley next the Sea. A Lower Palaeolithic flint handaxe was found here between 2017 and 2018.

Objects known to have been recovered on the beach at Cley next the Sea but with little additional information regarding their provenance.

1879. Stray Find.
Picked up on Cley beach.
Gold noble of Henry VI 1422 to 1427. Annulet issue.
Later donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NHWCM : 1974.510) [1].
