Summary

A large earthwork bank, most likely post-medieval in date, is seen on field visits and visualised lidar data. The bank runs approximately north-south and most likely relates to a boundary seen on the First and Second Edition Ordnance Survey maps.

April 2010. Field visit.
Surviving bank is sinuous and is aligned very roughly north to south. It is 12-15m wide and up to 0.5m tall. It is taller on the west than the east.
Location recorded using hand-held GPS unit (the mapped features are based on GPS points taken on this and the December 2009 site visit).

A large earthwork bank, most likely post-medieval in date, is seen on visualised lidar data (S1). The bank runs approximately north-south and most likely relates to a boundary seen on the First and Second Edition Ordnance Survey maps (S2-S3).
The mapped extent of this feature has been significantly extended [1].
